この鑿は、宮大工が自らの長年の経験と知見をもとに、日本の伝統的な鑿を現代の視点で再構築した新しいタイプの道具です。最新技術を駆使した圧倒的な精度の良さと、緻密に計算された独特な形状が最大の特徴です。

早春の野を力強く割って出る土筆（つくし）の生命力になぞらえ、この名を冠しました。そのタフな使い心地を、ぜひ貴方の手で体感してください。

Tsukushi — Reimagining the Japanese Chisel: A Miya-Daiku’s Vision

This chisel represents a new evolution of Japanese edge tools, reconstructed by a Miya-Daiku (shrine carpenter) based on years of direct experience. It features an exceptional level of precision achieved through modern technology, combined with a uniquely calculated form.

We named this tool "Tsukushi" (Horsetail), drawing a parallel to the powerful life force of the horsetail sprout that pierces through the soil in early spring. We invite you to experience its remarkable toughness and superior handling for yourself.

This chisel set includes five pieces.
The blade widths are 9mm, 15mm, 30mm, 42mm, and 48mm.

Shipping Schedule

As this is a pre-order item, production begins after the pre-order period ends and the final quantity is confirmed. Due to the high-precision craftsmanship required for each piece, it may take up to 6 months for delivery. We will notify you of the specific shipping date via email as soon as it is finalized.

Note on Product Images

The current images show a prototype. We will update them with photos of the final production model upon completion. As each tool is handcrafted, slight variations in appearance may occur, but we guarantee the highest standards of quality and performance.

Because this is a made-to-order product, cancellations or returns are not accepted after payment is confirmed. Thank you for your understanding.

International Orders
